Vessels

Copper drinking vessels, unlined and engraved rather than printed. A tumbler, a carafe, and the patterns of Palestine cut into the metal deep enough that they will outlast the person drinking from them. Copper has been the material of Levantine drinkware for centuries; the coppersmiths' markets of Jerusalem, Nablus and Damascus have been turning out trays, pots and basins for longer than most countries have existed. What is new here is only what is engraved on them. Every vessel is 99.9% pure copper with no interior lacquer and no plating, which means it will darken and take on a patina specific to how you hold it and how often. That is the material behaving correctly. Rinse and dry after use; half a lemon and a spoon of salt will bring the shine back whenever you want it.
