The Kufiya Carafe

One litre, sealed cap, and the full keffiyeh lattice wrapped between two bands of olive-leaf herringbone.

The lattice is the fishnet at the centre of a keffiyeh — the part people rarely look at closely. Running it around a cylinder lets the pattern close on itself with no seam, which is how it was always meant to be read.

Care

Copper darkens. That is the material behaving correctly, not a defect. Rinse and dry after use. To bring the shine back, half a lemon and a spoon of salt, then rinse well. Never put it in a dishwasher.
