Terms of service

These terms govern your use of this store. Buying something means you accept them.

The pieces

Every piece is solid copper, engraved and hand-finished. Because the finishing is done by hand, no two are identical, and photographs cannot show exactly how a given piece will patina. Colour varies between screens. Copper darkens with use — that is the material behaving correctly and is not a defect.

Prices and availability

Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice; the price that binds is the one shown when your order is placed. Stock is finite and we may run out between your adding something to a basket and paying for it. We may decline or cancel an order — including after it is placed — if a piece is unavailable, if there is an error in its price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you get a full refund.

Ordering and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send the shipping confirmation, not when you pay. You confirm that the payment method is yours and that the details you give us are accurate and complete.

Delivery

Shipping terms are in our shipping policy. Risk passes to you on delivery. Delivery estimates are estimates; we are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.

Returns and repair

Set out in full in our refund policy — thirty days on anything unengraved and unused, and lifetime repair on every piece we make. Engraved-to-order pieces cannot be returned once cut, for the obvious reason.

Using the site

Do not use this store for anything unlawful, do not attempt to breach its security, and do not scrape it. The name Sabeel Copperworks, the marks, the engraving designs, the photography and the text on this site are ours and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and nothing here removes consumer rights your local law gives you — where those rights conflict with these terms, those rights win.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, United States, and any dispute belongs to the courts of Michigan.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you order.
