The sarw — the cypress — rising between two panels of cross-stitch diamonds, framed top and bottom in a running key.
The tree of life is the oldest motif in Palestinian embroidery and the one most often worked into a bridal thob. Rendered in copper it keeps the stepped, pixelated logic of counted cross-stitch rather than being smoothed into an illustration.

Care
Copper darkens. That is the material behaving correctly, not a defect. Rinse and dry after use. To bring the shine back, half a lemon and a spoon of salt, then rinse well. Never put it in a dishwasher.
